Philip ‘Pip’ Thorne

Philip started his career working at the International Department of the Royal Court theatre in London, and assistant director to James Macdonald at the National Theatre. He has translated numerous plays from German into English, including Darja Stocker’s Nightblind, which was published by Oberon Books. He now focuses on writing. He has participated in panels on audio drama at conferences in London, Austin and Lille, and won the Best Fiction Podcast Script award at the Austin Film Festival in 2025. He now lives in Paris, where alongside his work with Imploding Fictions, he also works as a teacher.

Øystein U. Brager

Øystein works as a director, dramaturg and playwright. He currently works as a dramaturg at Unge Viken Teater, running their young writer’s program UNG TEKST. Freelance directing credits include Dickens’ A Christmas Carol at Teater Innlandet / Teater Grimsborken, The Wild Duck by Henrik Ibsen at SoFT, Frankenstein at Nordland Teater, Kinder K by Kristofer B. Grønskag (touring production, Norway), War stories by Amir Mirzai (touring production, Norway), Plass by Mette Karlsvik (Dramatikkens hus, Oslo), Sense (Nose) by Anja Hilling for Company of Angels (Southwark Playhouse, London) and New Norwegian Play Readings for ATC (Arcola Theatre, London).
